Page 1 of 2 What are the chemicals used in Enerpeel EL?Enerpeel EL uses a qualitative blend of Lactic Acid and Trichloroacetic Acid (TCA). TCA is used in medium peeling while Lactic Acid would enable using a lower strength TCA to achieve the same effective result as a high strength TCA. Lactic Acid can also reduce risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
What to observe after the process?Slight redness might be observed after the process which will disappear within 1 hour. How many treatments are required?Generally 4 treatments are recommended to a patient in order to achieve the ideal results but might vary between individuals. Ask the physician for the number of sessions required. What to avoid before treatment?The following products and / or procedures are to be avoided 1 week before treatment:
2 to 3 days before the treatment, stop using any products that contains Retinol, AHAs, BHAs or Benzoyl Peroxide. Treatment should be avoided If there is any peeling on the skin around the eye and lip area or indication of swollen eye prior to it. |
