Co2 lasers have many uses and are usually used to remove lesions and growths of the skin e.g moles, skin tags and enlarged oil glands.
A anaesthetic cream is applied to the area of treatment for about 15 mins before the doctors do the procedure. There is usually very little discomfort for most treatments.
After the treatments our doctors will usually advice an avoidance of excessive sun exposure and the application of topical creams to minimize complications.
